AWARDS FOR ALL UPDATE
Here's the news we've all been waiting for...
Awards for All has proved to be a great success with 9400 grants distributed
across England to a total value of £31m from September 1999-April 2000.
As a consequence the National Lottery Charities Board, the Arts Council, the
Heritage Lottery Fund and Sport England have all committed to the programme
until at least March 2002.
A public announcement will follow in early July at which time further details
will be published.
The intention is that from the point of view of applicants the programme should
be seen as continuous. This means that there will now be no closing date for
A4A applications.
A revised application form will be available in July but the existing applications
forms will only be valid until the end of June.
