There is now an opportunity to take stock, identify future trends and pressures and improve internal communications within the organisation and secure IIP accreditation. His experience in Local Government, the private sector and with a leading charity, equip him admirably for this task.' David Fielding said: 'I am delighted to have the opportunity to join Europe's largest general purpose grant maker. There are enormous challenges in directing a dynamic Personnel function within a devolved organisational structure. I want to take the Charities Board forward and build upon its successes. The Charities Board has a diverse and talented work force and I want to explore ways of enhancing its staff's potential, progress equalities, and develop further strong partnerships with our stakeholders.'
